Graceville (0-0) at Northview (0-0) 7pm – Graceville rallied for a tie in their kickoff classic against Sneads last Friday. This Friday they’ll make the long road trip to Bratt to take on the Chiefs of Northview. Treyshaun White and Leron Hoover will be the go to guys in this season opener.

Cottondale (0-0) at Marianna (0-0) 7 pm – Cottondale elected not to play in a preseason game or jamboree while Marianna struggled with turnovers in their two halves of play against East Gadsden and Liberty County. While the Bulldogs were without several starters in the jamboree, they best resolve their turnover problems or Cottondale will be poised to pull off the upset. The Hornets will look to Nick Jackson and Dominique Webb to help pull off the upset while Marianna will welcome the return of Tre Long, Tre Jackson and Marjean Dean to the Bulldog backfield.

Sneads (0-0) at Blountstown (0-0) 7pm – Sneads ended with a14-14 tie against Graceville in their kickoff classic and open up down in Calhoun County against the Tigers. Both Blountstown and Sneads finished the 2008 season at 3-7 so both are hoping for a good start for the new season. Sneads will look to Mark Lawson to lead the way to a season opener win.
