Brief Summary
A Change in standings for both the Eastern Division and the Western Division in the Big Bend Baseball League of Florida.
In the Eastern Division, the Gulf County Drive takes soul possession of the first place with a victory over the Washington County Bruins 8-2. The Liberty Diamond Dawgs slipped to second place for the first time this season after their defeat at the hands of the Bay County Brewers 19-16. The Calhoun County Horsemen improved their record to 8 and 5 by beating the Jackson Jays to hold to a solid third place in the Eastern Division.
In the Western Division, the Bay County Brewers regained first place over the Washington County Bruins with their win over the Liberty Diamond Dawgs. Therefore, for the week, Gulf County Drive takes possession of first place in the East while the Bay County Brewers regain first place in the West. But please note that the top three teams in each division of the Big Bend Baseball League of Florida are separated by only a few percentage points.
