BCF Golf Team Announced

Tryouts for The Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville’s NCCAA golf team were completed August 28. BCF senior Ryan Kirk from Colquitt, Ga., was the low scorer with a thirty-six hole score of 168. He was followed closely by sophomore Jacob Patillo from Clayton, Ala., at 172 and freshman Justin Rickerd from Live Oak, Fla., at 174. Other players making the team were Robert Govoni, Garrett Durham, Caleb McGee, and Nathan Dobbs. The team is scheduled to play in four tournaments this fall against NCCAA Southeast Region schools.

Oct 30 NCCAA Two-team Match Dothan, AL

The first match will pit BCF against Christian Clearwater College and Taccoa Falls College in a Saturday afternoon bout on the beautiful Country Club of South Georgia course near Tifton, Ga. The Regional Tourney in October will feature about eight or nine teams from around the southeastern United States. Working hard through their first year of competition, the BCF golf team hopes to be more competitive this year, especially with the opening of its on-campus driving range and practice facility.
