The Blountstown Tigers took advantages of four Pirate fumbles and handed Sneads a 33-6 loss in the opening regular season game for both teams. The Tigers got out of the gates quickly and scored on their opening possession. They added two more scores in the second quarter to lead 20-0 at the half. The Pirates best scoring opportunity came in the second quarter on a field goal attempt but it was wide keeping the Pirates scoreless.
The third quarter was when Sneads got the fumble bug and Blountstown cashed in with two more scores to take a 33-0 lead. The lone Sneads score came in the fourth quarter on a 48 yard run by Xavier Eutsay. He turned out to be the lone bright spot on offense for the Pirates as he rushed for 112 yards on 20 carries. Blade Osborne with 7 solo tackles and 4 assist.
