Pringle Headed to Pensacola

By Clint Cox

All the hard work and long practices have paid off for Kail Pringle of Sneads. The senior Lady Pirate will trade her blue and gold pirate colors for the blue and green pirate colors of Pensacola Junior College. Pringle signed a scholarship last Thursday to play volleyball for the Lady Pirates of Pensacola.
Pringle has been a four year starter for the Lady Pirates of Sneads and all four years were under the direction of Head Coach Shelia Roberts. Roberts has had nothing but praise for Pringle over those years for her commitment to the sport and her leadership both on and off the court. Pringle closed out her senior season by helping lead the Lady Pirates to a 19-8 record, a district championship and second round appearance in the FHSAA playoffs. A few of her post season honors include being named the District 5 Volleyball Player of the Year by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association and being selected to the first team All Big Bend squad. In her senior season she racked up 354 kills, which led the Big Bend, as well as 75 services aces. Kail is the daughter of Frank and Sherry Pringle of Sneads.
