Marianna - Chipola College has advanced to the semi-finals of the Florida JUCO championship tournament. Chipola also improved its record to 30-1 on the year with Wednesday night's 73-62 victory over Central Florida.
The defending state champions will next take the court on Friday night at the Milton Johnson Center in Marianna. Their opponent in the semi-finals will be Indian River, which defeated Manatee by a score of 99-92 to advance in the tourney.
On the other side of the bracket, Okaloosa-Walton defeated Sante Fe by twelve points in an 82-70 over Sante Fe. They will play Broward in the other semi-final game on Friday.
