The Chipola College basketball squads have been on break for a few days during the holidays. However the men will return to action next week as they travel to Panama City to take part in the Gulf Coast Classic. On Monday (28th) they will take on Georgia Perimeter and on Tuesday (29th) they will square off against Northwest Mississippi. The Indians are currently 11-1 and ranked #2 in the state behind Northwest Florida State College and #8 in the nation.
The Lady Indians are still on break and will be returning to action on January 2nd when they travel to Ocala to take on Central Florida. The Lady Indians are currently 9-6 on the season and ranked #8 in the state.
Both the men and women will begin play in the Panhandle Conference on January 9th when they host Gulf Coast at the Milton H. Johnson Health Center.
