In action last Thursday Zaxby’s beat Grand Ridge 7-6. Ryan Reed pitched 1 2/3 innings and Jack Craven came in to close the game pitching 3 1/3 innings and striking out 9 batters! They pitched Lombardo 3 innings and Chatwood 2 innings. Maxx Harrell went 2-2 with a 2 RBI double and Landon Tharpe went 3-3 to lead Zaxby’s over Grand Ridge.
In the top of the 1st Tharpe lead off with a single and stole to 3rd base. Harrell then singled to score Tharpe.. In the top of the 2nd Kaelin Smith and Teyton Howell both walked and both stole to score on a passed balls. In the top of the 3rd Hunter Gilbert walked and stole to 3rd base. Tharpe singled and stole to 2nd. Harrell then hit a stand up double to the fence to score Gilbert and Tharpe. Harrell stole to 3rd and scored on a passed ball. Craven walked and stole to score on a passed ball.
