Project Graduation 2010

Project Graduation 2010 is just weeks away, and there is still time for the community to jump in and help us make this worthwhile project a success for our graduating seniors. We have a new order of the Desktop Pet Plants, Syngonium ‘Strawberry Cream’, which were designed and produced by Oglesby Plants International just for this event making them a “one of a kind” gift. The young plant has pink foliage making it a unique Valentine’s day gift, and will last 3 to 6 months before it needs to be transplanted. After being planted into its new home, it will last for many years near a sunny window or on a porch. To purchase these plants for $6.00 each, you may call Claudia Smith at 482-7507 or contact Kathy McCrary at MHS.

There will also be a drawing for a fabulous Justin Coonbottom Catering smoked steak dinner for two. Tickets are available now and can be purchased at Wynn Law Office, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, or by calling Claudia Smith at 482-7507 or contacting Kathy McCrary at MHS. The cost of the tickets is one for $3.00, two for $5.00, or five for $10.00. The drawing will be held February 10th, just in time for Valentine’s day. The winner can have the dinner delivered on Friday, February 12th, or Sunday, February 14th, or any other Friday.
