Brief Summary

The Washington County Bruins and the Liberty County Diamond Dawgs remain atop their respective division after week six of play in the Big Bend Baseball League of Florida. However, the Washington Bruins lost their first game of the season to the Destin Dawgs, leaving no team undefeated in league play.

The Liberty County Diamond Dawgs bounced back from their first defeat of the season last week by beating the cross-river rival, Calhoun County Horsemen, to keep a commanding lead in the Eastern Division over the Horsemen.

The Bay County Brewers, with a double-header win over the Jackson County Jays in Marianna, closed the gap on league leader Washington Bruins, but still trail the Bruins by one-half game in the Western Division.
