Ten members of the conference champion Chipola College softball team were named to the Panhandle All-Conference team.
With a current league record of 14-2, the Lady Indians have already secured a spot in the FCCAA State Tournament.
Six Lady Indians—Emma Stevenson, Brittany Black, Trish Bliss, Michelle Hewett, Nikki Roddy and Kellie Todd—were named First Team All Conference. Three Chipola players—Hannah Lovestrand, Andrea Sullivan and Ariell van Hook—were named Second Team All Conference. Lady Indian Dana Cauthen received honorable mention.
Catcher Kellie Todd was named Conference Player of the Year. Emma Stevenson was selected as the Conference Pitcher of the Year, with a record of 20-3 overall and 7-0 in conference play with two saves and an ERA of 0.96.
To top off this year’s conference honors was Chipola Coach Belinda Hendrix being selected as the Panhandle Conference Coach of the Year.
