The Chipola College High School Spring Showcase is a great opportunity for players to showcase their skills and be evaluated by JUCO and Division One Coaches, as well as professional scouts. This is a great opportunity for players to gain the exposure needed to showcase your talents. Players must be Sophomore, Juniors or Seniors and currently a member of their varsity baseball team. Players should dress in baseball pants and bring their own bats, spikes, gloves, hats, protective cups, etc.
8:00 A.M. Check-In; 9:00 A.M. Skill Evaluation (Running, Outfield, Infield, and Hitting); 11:45 A.M. Lunch (On Your Own); 12:30 P.M. Skill Evaluation (Pitching and Catching). Registration deadline is Friday, May 7, 2010. The cost per Player is $85 Cash or Money Order Only. Showcase will proceed rain or shine.

Chipola Baseball Camps
Pitching Camp – June 14 & 15 /
Hitting Camp – June 16 & 17

Chipola Baseball Coach Jeff Johnson will offer a special camp for pitchers on June 14 & 15 and a special camp for hitters on June 16 & 17 for ages 7-18. The individualized camps will focus on the finer points of pitching and hitting. A limited number of applicants will be accepted. Please pre-register. The camp will meet at the Chipola Field from 9:00 A.M. to Noon both days. The cost is $100. Accident insurance coverage is included in the camp tuition. Registration for the camp will be 8:30-9:00 A.M. on the first day of each camp at the Chipola Baseball Field. Pre-Registration is encouraged. Camp instruction will come from Chipola College coaching staff and players. Youngsters will learn the fundamentals of the game of baseball through drills. Every person that attends will receive a camp T-shirt. Concessions can be purchased during breaks. All attendants should come to registration dressed to play. (Shorts, shirt, cleats, or tennis shoes) Towel or a dry shirt is optional. For more information call 850-718-2332.
