Cottondale (1-6) at Graceville (2-6) 7 pm – Both schools have found wins hard to come by this season. The Hornets got their first win of the season two weeks ago in a 56-16 win over the Knights of Rocky Bayou Christian School. Graceville demolished the Knights this past Friday night for their second win of the year. But this is the county’s biggest and longest rivalry and you can throw out the records. In fact, given the tough season that both have experienced, a win over your biggest rivalry can make the season. Cottondale will look to Nick Jackson to lead the way while Graceville will counter with the likes of Leron Hoover.

Sneads (4-4) at Bozeman (4-5) 7 pm – The Sneads road show continues this week as the Pirates are traveling for the third straight week. Last week they traveled all the way to Bratt and fell 10-7 to Northview. This week’s trip to Panama City will be a shorter trip and hopefully the Pirates can break their road losing streak. All four Pirate loses this year have come on the road. The Pirates will take on a Bucks team that playing much better as of late. Bozeman started the season 0-4 with losses to Liberty Co., Vernon, South Walton and Northview. Since that time however they have gone 4-1 with wins over Wewa, Baker, Holmes Co. and Jay. Their lone loss in that stretch came to Freeport.

Marianna (4-5) – open date – Marianna dropped another hard fought contest last week in a 23-22 loss to Port St. Joe. That’s back to back heart breaking losses for the ‘Dogs and they’ll have a open week to lick their wounds. Coming up for Marianna is a county matchup with the Sneads Pirates in the regular season finale. But the Bulldogs playoff hopes are not dead yet so that will be on their minds as well (see Bulldog Playoff Picture) on this page.
