The Chipola Indians basketball squads both fell to the visting Gulf Coast squads this past Saturday night. In women’s action the Lady Indians fell 75-65 to the Lady Commodores. The Chipola men fell to Gulf Coast by a score of 97-85.
The men bounced back with a road win over Pensacola Junior College on Monday night. John Taylor led the Indians with 20 points as Chipola posted a 78-74 win. Delwan Graham also was in double figures with 11 points. The Lady’s once again found the going rough as they fell 75-65 despite a 39 point effort from Biana Jarrett.
Both squads were in action on Wednesday when they hosted Northwest Florida State College. Results of that contest were not available at press time. Both squads will close out the season this Saturday night on the road when they travel to Tallahassee.
