2009 Cottondale Lady Hornets Varsity Profile

District: Class 2A District Two – Cottondale, Blountstown, Bozeman, Graceville, Holmes County, Sneads, South Walton and Vernon. District Tournament to be played at Blountstown High School on 10/26-30, 2009.
2009 Outlook: The Lady Hornets enter the 2009 with only three players returning from last year’s squad. Coach Cassie Whiddon is entering her third season at the helm of Lady Hornet Volleyball and has described the 2009 season as a rebuilding year. Through the first six games of the season the Lady Hornets are even at 3-3. That includes a loss to Sneads on Monday in Sneads. They followed that up with a home match against district foe Bozeman on Tuesday and the Lady Hornets came away with a sweep of the Lady Bucks.
