Indians Fall To Roulhac

The Grand Ridge Middle School Indian’s football squad found the going rough over in Chipley on Tuesday night as they fell 46-6 to Roulhac. The Tigers scored on the first play from scrimmage and was off to the races. They added another score a few minutes later to make it a 16-0 game. Grand Ridge got their lone score of the night on a 51 yard run by Wayne Driggers. The two point conversion failed and the Indians trailed 16-6. Late in the first half the Tigers mounted a drive and scored with under a minute to play to expand their lead to 24-6 at the half. The second half began on a bad note for the Indians as they fumbled on their first possession and Roulhac quickly cashed in to make it a 32-6 game. The Tigers added two more scores and the mercy rule kicked in late in the third quarter. It was the Indians first loss of the season and they will return home on Tuesday for a contest against Vernon.
