Malone School Hosts “Old Timers” Game in “New” Gym

The basketball “stars” from yesterday are coming back to play in the “old timers” basketball game at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2009. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially opening the newly renovated Malone gym, begins at 5:00 p.m. Over forty former Malone players are scheduled to participate in the game. Several former coaches will be in attendance, also. The public is invited to attend. There will be a $2.00 charge for the game with proceeds going to benefit the Malone Athletic Department. Concessions will be sold. Malone School officials hope to see many of the former students and their families, along with the Jackson County community, come out Thursday night to support the athletic program and to enjoy seeing former classmates and teachers.
