Sneads (4-3) at Northview (5-2) 7 pm – The Sneads folks might have thought the South Walton game last week was a long way to go, but it was a stroll in the park compared to this week’s game at Northview. They’ll need to break out the GPS systems to navigate the 3 hour trip from Sneads to Bratt. Once they finally get there, Pirate fans will see a Chiefs team very similar to Sneads. Both squad’s playoff hopes are pretty dim, both have district losses to district frontrunners Freeport and South Walton and both have close wins over district foe Jay. Northview also has wins over Graceville, Bozeman , Baker and Holmes County.

Port St. Joe (5-2) at Marianna (4-4) 7 pm – Marianna dropped a hard fought contest last week in a 49-42 loss to arch rival Chipley. The ‘Dogs must somehow put that emotional heartbreak behind them and get ready for a good Tiger Shark team. Port St. Joe has two losses on the season, one to Class 3A Rutherford and the other last week to Blountstown in a 20-14 loss. Three of their wins have come against Franklin Co., West Gadsden and Interlachen. Their other two wins have come against Liberty Co. and Bay, both of which beat Marianna earlier in the year. It always seems to be an exciting contest when Marianna and St. Joe hook up and this year’s game looks to be the same.

Rocky Bayou (0-7) at Graceville (1-6) 7 pm – Last Friday night’s 42-6 loss to Jefferson County pretty much eliminated Graceville from having a shot at the playoffs this year. But the Tigers can still close out the season on a high note. This Friday night’s game against the Knights should get the Tigers their second win of the season. Rocky Bayou has struggled to say the least and Graceville is heavily favored to win in the homecoming contest. Graceville will then close out the season with two big rivalries as they host Cottondale next week and finish at Chipley. If they could string together three wins it might lessen the disappointment of not making the playoffs for the first time in five years.

Cottondale (1-6) – Open Date – The Hornets got their first win of the season last week in a 56-16 win over the Knights of Rocky Bayou Christian School. Cottondale will have this week off as they prepare for next Friday night’s annual showdown with rival Graceville.
